We are currently looking for a Security Agent at La Grand Roue de Montreal.
The ideal candidate will have a flexible schedule (Weekends, holidays, and evenings) according to business needs.
The Security Guard is responsible for keeping surveillance on the leased area and property of La Grande Roue de Montréal.
The position’s responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Runs surveillance rounds and secures the site and its properties from issues such as trespassers and vandalism
- Takes care of viewing the security cameras to look for issues or particularities
- Performs visual bag searches on prohibited materials, ensuring that the bag is not physically searched (ie no hands into the bag)
- Checks the validity of client’s tickets
- Addresses clients about behavior that is not tolerated and escorts them out if necessary
- Acts on issues and particularities through approaching the person concerned (verbally and non-verbally) and, if needed, limits physical measures to self-defense
- Reports to supervisor for any particularities or (extensive) issues
- Is available for possible questions of clients on site and answers them in a hospitable manner.
- Ensures a safe and clean workplace and client area and compliance to safety, hygiene, and quality standards
- Executes their job in accordance with the approved Brand Experience related policies
- Carries out other job-related activities that are assigned by management or supervisor
The successful candidate will possess the following skills/attributes:
- Highschool (diploma)
- A minimum age of 18 is required
- Basic security course is required
- CPR is required
- C-level is preferred
- 0 – 3 years of experience in a similar role
- Be willing to perform physically demanding work and work in different weather conditions and different time shifts is necessary
- Fluent in both French and English
